What is Lifeline?The Lifeline program was established in 1985 by the Federal Communications Commission and was created to help eligible low-income consumers in every state, territory, commonwealth, and on Tribal lands have access to telecommunication services. The program is administered by the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC), operated by Federal Communications Commission (FCC) & is funded by the U.S Government. Since its establishment, the Lifeline program has provided a discount on phone services to millions of qualifying low-income consumers, giving Americans the opportunity and security to stay connected to work, family, friends, healthcare, job opportunities, & 911 emergency services.
What is the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP)The Affordable Connectivity program helps ensure that households can afford the broadband they need for work, school, healthcare and more. The benefit provides a discount of up to $30 per month toward internet service for eligible households and up to $75 per month for households on qualifying Tribal lands. Eligible households can also receive a one-time discount of up to $100 to purchase a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet from participating providers if they contribute more than $10 and less than $50 toward the purchase price. The Affordable Connectivity Program is limited to one monthly service discount and one device discount per household.

When will I receive my Free phone and Free service after I sign up?Once approved, we will begin shipping your order to you within 3-4 business days.
How long will it take to receive approval?Normally, it takes about 20-30 minutes for an application to be approved. However, some applications will have to wait 3-4 days or longer for approval. The reason is that your proof documentation needs to be reconfirmed. You can always check the status of your application by logging into your account. Once you receive approval, you will also receive an email confirmation along with a tracking number for your order.
Why do I need to provide the last 4 of my Social Security Number?As Free Phone Wireless is a government assistance lifeline service provider, we require your SSN in order to verify your eligibility. You will also be required to provide proof of your qualifying benefit program or if you are applying by income, verification of your income as well. All your information is strictly confidential. We always respect the privacy of user.
How can I check my application status?To check the status of your application, visit your email within 48-72 hours. You will see a variety of information, including the status of your application and if any additional documentation is required. If approved, Tracking info will also be included.
Lifeline RulesLifeline Rules: You must use your FREE Lifeline service at least once every 30 days or it will be terminated. The Lifeline benefit is non-transferrable to another person. Only eligible consumers may enroll in the Lifeline program. Only low-income consumers with proof of eligibility are qualified to enroll. Only one Lifeline benefit is permitted per household.
